What is Online Idaho?

Idaho’s public colleges and universities have partnered with Quottly, Inc. to create Online Idaho, a course search and registration platform that makes it easy to find and register for online transferable courses. Online Idaho provides students with convenient and affordable access to online courses offered at other institutions in Idaho.

How do I search for classes on Online Idaho?

Online Idaho makes course searching easy and accessible. To search, simply enter the keyword related to your course you’re looking for, ie. Math, and select ‘Go’ to browse through your course options. Once on the search results page, take advantage of search filters to help you find the exact course you need.

How do I register for my course?

Online Idaho uses cross enrollment to allow you to easily register for your course. Once you find the course you want to register for, simply click the ‘Add Class’ button. This will prompt you to login through your home college. After you’re logged in, you will fill out a Student Consent Form and provide basic student information and you’re registered!

Do I need to confirm that the course I registered for on Online Idaho transfers to my home institution?

Yes, once you’ve found the course you want to take online, please meet with your General Education Advisor to ensure that the course will count towards your general education requirements. Quottly support staff are also available to assist you to assist with this process.

How can I drop my course?

You can drop your course through the Dashboard on your Online Idaho account. When you click the ‘Drop Course’ button, you will be given a link to follow the policies of the teaching institution regarding dropping courses. Please make sure to follow the guidelines outlined by each individual university regarding their policies for dropping courses.

How do I pay for my course?

After you finish registering for your course, it will appear on your Class Schedule tab of your Online Idaho account. There will be a “Pay Fees” button for the course and when clicked on, will route you to a payment page. On this page you will be able to see the tuition price, and click the link to pay through the teaching institution’s secure payment portal.

How do I dispute a grade for a course I enroll in via Online Idaho?

To dispute a grade you must follow the guidelines provided by the teaching institution. Should you need assistance, contact their advising office.

Can I use Online Idaho to register for courses at my home institution?

No, if you attempt to register for courses at your own home institution, you will receive a pop-up message blocking your attempt to register.
