About the Program

The Nursing Management and Leadership Certificate will prepare you with the knowledge and skills needed to lead change and manage improved patient outcomes at all levels of healthcare organizations as you respond to the explosion of new technologies, increased diversity, and global health challenges in today’s rapidly evolving healthcare system. The curriculum is designed to provide critical skills in policy development and evaluation, data analysis, population health, patient-centered care, and quality improvement and utilization. The program culminates in an internship that synthesizes prior learning through field experience and a capstone project.
