Early Childhood Education (Certificate)
About the Program
The Early Childhood Education Program is designed to develop the skills, competencies, and knowledge necessary to provide quality care and education for children (ages 0-8) who are developing typically or have special needs. Students who complete this certificate will be able to understand theories of early childhood development, apply that knowledge to a variety of environments, interact with diverse children, families, and coworkers, and utilize professional and community resources for the care of children and families.
