Prepare for the RDMS exam with Boise State Online’s Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. This program is a relevant option for health care professionals who have a degree but want to transition into the field of diagnostic medical sonography.
Program Requirements
To be considered for the online Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS), applicants must meet the following requirements:
-Credentialed, clinically-based healthcare provider matriculated from a regionally accredited institution (AS/AAS degree minimum)
-Students need to have taken anatomy and physiology (BIOL 227 and 228) to be admitted into the certificate
-Proof of medical professional credentials
-Resume outlining patient care experience
-Acceptance into Boise State University
-Students pursuing DMS must apply through the on-campus program if they want clinical placement in the Treasure Valley, Idaho, area.
