About the Program

The Graduate Certificate in Behavioral Interventions and Supports is designed to expand your knowledge of interventions and supports for individuals who engage in behaviors that make inclusion in school and community-based settings a challenge. This online certificate can be pursued individually or may be completed concurrently with the MEd in Early and Special Education.

Program Requirements

Complete all of the following:

-Application to the Graduate College

-Submit letter of application

-Submit two letters of recommendation

-Submit 3.0 undergraduate GPA

  • Program Requirements complete the following 4 requirements
    12 credits
    Take 1 course from the following 3
    EDESP512 - Positive Behavior Intervention
    3 credits
    EDESP517 - Universal Behavior Systems
    3 credits
    EDESP554 - Positive Behavior Programs
    3 credits
    EDESP518 - Intensive Behavior Support
    3 credits
    EDESP559 - Coaching & Leadership
    3 credits
    Take at least 3 credits of approved graduate electives
